lyrics
A cold husk of evil
The black smoke grows
Passed unto the next life
Bereave for her mind
Awaken the vapour of death
A creeping haze upon her
Awaken the frostitute
The bride of decay
The hissing sound in the wind, with vigor and haste
She spreads like a mist, the forest; now death,
Now the movement of pain in your veins,
The poison, the nightmarish rage and hate
The piercing sound of her breath
A heaving punctured lung
Reak of lacerations and infection
Spew forth from the mouth
Disgusting and vile
The stalling sickness
Becoming the subordinate evil,
The demon, a witch, Bride of satan
The crafter of pain and evils
The watch begins,
Evolving, changing men to beast,
Cursed with bloodlust, cursed with hatred
Succubus, arise in black
Inordinate pain be embraced
May fear and hopelessness accompany death,
May pain and dread be seen at the end.
never been a big death metal fan but this is actually super accessible for the genre, has fun concepts, and personally i'm always a fan of albums with short tracklists and huge runtimes (for individual songs) Great time, good jumping on point for newbies too. alienasu
Gaerea's first release of "Unsettling Whispers" was in 2018, and since, they dared define a "black metal" niche of their own, they dared to walk a new path and stir shit up a bit in the realm of BM, this album is a masterpiece and a milestone proving that it can be done, provided the band can pull it off, and they did, oh they did! Gloomy, dark, post-BM sludgy whatever, it's Gaerea, and this one belongs in my BC collection, the end. sachavonkarl74
